Privacy Introduction
We recognise our responsibility to treat the information we obtain about you with care. Please take a few minutes to read this section carefully as it contains important information relating to the details that you’ve given or should give to us. It explains how we may use your details and tells you about the systems we have in place that allow us to detect and prevent fraudulent applications and claims. We use personal information about you to provide you with a quote. Some of the personal information we ask you to provide may be sensitive. If you buy one of our policies, then we’ll treat you as having given us consent to use any sensitive personal data in connection with the administration of your policy.

UK Money Laundering Regulations
We are obliged to conform to the UK Money Laundering Regulations and to the guidance notes from the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group. This process may require sight of certain documentation to verify client identity and place of residence, and we may request clarification on how any monies being invested were obtained. If you provide false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud or money laundering we will record this. We may not forward any applications or money to third parties/product providers until our verification requirements have been met, and we will take no responsibility for any resulting delay. In circumstances where sufficient verification is not received in a timely manner after we have received completed applications, the application(s) and any monies may be returned to you.
Compensation arrangements
If you make a complaint and we are unable to meet our liabilities, you may be entitled to compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Most types of investment business are covered up to a maximum limit of £85,000, whereas Insurance business is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit. For annuities, advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
